Regular and comprehensive monitoring, as well as environmental hygiene analyses and expert assessments tailored to individual cases, of environmental media and of industrial and household products, including recyclable and residual materials, are essential prerequisites for the development of health- and environmentally friendly production processes and industrial products.
The Hygiene Institute of the Ruhr Area is therefore able to identify adverse changes in our environment at an early stage, analyze their effects on humans, determine their causes as quickly as possible, and eliminate them as effectively and thoroughly as possible.
