Hygiene inspections of ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment in accordance with VDI 6022, Part 1
In accordance with VDI 6022, Part 1, operators of ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment are required to subject these to hygiene inspections at the following intervals:
- systems with humidification units and/or earth-connected ducts at intervals of 2 years
- systems without humidification units and/or earth-connected ducts must be subjected to a hygiene inspection at intervals of 3 years
As part of a hygiene inspection, it is verified whether all hygienic and structural requirements of VDI 6022, Part 1 are met. In addition, microbiological samples are taken from air-carrying surfaces, from humidifier and make-up water, as well as from the supply air. Upon completion, you will receive a report containing the test results, a description of any deficiencies, and the necessary corrective measures.
In the event of hygiene-related issues, we are happy to advise you and also offer further chemical, physico-chemical, and microbiological analyses, such as dust surface load determination, VOC measurements (in accordance with VDI-MT 6022 Part 2), and measurements of asbestos and synthetic mineral fibres.
Our staff consists of master craftsmen and engineers in the field of building services engineering and are trained in accordance with VDI 6022, Part 4, Category A. They therefore meet the requirements to carry out hygiene inspections.
