Our History Defines Our Mission
The founding of the Hygiene Institute at the beginning of the 20th century can be traced back to Robert Koch. We are approved as a testing and inspection body in accordance with applicable regulations and legislation, including the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG), Federal Mining Act (BBergG), Infection Protection Act (IfSG), State Waste Management Act (LAbfG), State Water Act (LWG), Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV), Sewage Sludge Ordinance (AbfKlärV), Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV), and RAP Stra, and are recognized by DVGW and SVGW as a testing laboratory.
